Bavarian Hofbauer ‘Byrdes’ Crystal Decanter with 5 Matching Wine Goblets c1930 Glass

Bavarian Hofbauer ‘Byrdes’ Crystal flashed decanter with six matching wine goblets c1930. The decanter has its original stopper and is decorated with circular panels of cut to clear birds. This theme is duplicated on each of the goblets. Hofbauer Byrdes Crystal is noted for its traditional bird design cut into the glass. Sometimes a three-dimensional bird finial will top the design of a candy dish or compote. There are several varieties of this crystal that are colour-enhanced. Replacements Ltd. lists a blue, gold and ruby variety of the familiar Byrdes line. No chips, cracks or restoration to the decanter or any of the glasses. The decanter measures 12 ½ inches tall including the stopper, the goblets measure 7 1/8 inches tall with 3 1/8 inch bowls.
