These were actually the first “small” IMTS car mobile phones that didn’t take up your back seat or your trunk! Motorola then came out with the big “brick” version of mobile phones. When you hang it up the phone actually locks in tight to avoid flying around if you slammed on the brakes. It is very heavy and this is not some cheap plastic.
There are two bars on the back that reach out to it attach and lock into your car. Unable to test it. It is as is. I feel like this is a piece of history when I looked at I wonder who might have used it because these were between $5,000 and $9,000 when they came out because of being new technology.

Can’t find the price on one selling on-line because there are VERY few that you can even find to look at and they are in museums.
The ones I did see online have all been black or silver. I HAVE BEEN UNABLE TO FIND ANY THAT WERE RED.
